C64K General Open Wagon Details

C64K general open wagon is a multi-purpose railway freight wagon that was mass-produced in China in the 2000s. The wagon body adopts a weather-resistant steel all-welded structure, which is composed of the underframe, end walls, side walls, and doors. The side walls and end walls of the wagon are improved and strengthened on the basis of the previous wagon models, which can meet the unloading requirements of the dumper; K2 type bogies are adopted to increase the running speed to 120km/h. There are 2 middle double doors and 12 lower side doors in the whole wagon. The middle double doors adopt a door lock device with a pressing mechanism.

C70 & C70E Wagon Details

The C70 general open wagon was developed in 2005 to satisfy the increasing railway goods transportation needs in China. The wagon has a loading capacity of 70t, its wagon body is welded by high-strength weather-resistant steels.

One pair of side open double doors and six upturned lower side doors are installed on the side walls of both sides of the C70 wagon body. A new type of locking structure is adopted for the double doors, and a full-length groove lockbox is set outside the lock rod, which not only prevents the lock rod from being bumped and deformed but also greatly improves the anti-expansion ability of the door panel. The lower door lock adopts an eccentric compression structure. When the upper door lock is closed, the handle can prevent the lower door lock from jumping out and avoid accidental door opening. The operation is simple, safe, and reliable.

The C70E open wagon is an upgrade version of the C70 wagon. Its end walls and side walls are increased by 100mm to expand the loading volume.

C80E General-Purpose Open Wagon Details

The C80E general-purpose open wagon was modified on the basis of C70E open wagon, increasing the loading capacity to 80 tons.

The bogies adopted on the C80E open wagons are DZ1, DZ2, and DZ3, they have features of low power and quasi radial, which reduce the wheel-rail lateral force and wheel wear. The wearing parts are non-metallic or detachable metal wearing parts, which can be replaced and repaired.

The wagon body mainly adopts S450EW high corrosion resistant weathering steel, S450AW acid resistant high corrosion-resistant steel, or Q450NQR1 high strength weathering steel, which improves the corrosion resistance of the wagon.

Structurally, the combination structure of outer side pillar connecting iron, side pillar, and vertical pillar improves the anti-expansion ability of side walls. S-shaped door seal structure, two-stage lap structure, and three-hole riveted reinforced rope bolt are used to improve the transportation performance.

C80B Open Wagon for Coal Details

The C80B open wagon is specially optimized for the transportation of coal. The main plate parts and beam parts used in places directly in contact with coal, such as side wall, end wall, and floor, are manufactured by TCS stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance and can effectively prolong the service life of the wagon.

Three C80B open wagons are usually set into one group using the towbar device. The two wagons at both ends are respectively equipped with rotary coupler and fixed coupler, and the wagon in the middle is connected with them by the towbar device.
